| "Walking" Orsolya Endrody |
Sometimes I feel like taking a walk, and exploring where I live. This place is so different from my native country but because it is so new it is very exciting. Every time I find new ways and I never know where I go. I often find gardens, houses, butterflies and stairs. I never know where they lead to.
Here where I live there are lots of paths, narrow routes and wooden houses with their own gardens. Everybody has their own garden it is sometimes hard to find. I believe everybody can find their garden… somehow. I found my garden just in front of me, I did not know I have a garden like this. There are many different corners in it, there is one part where almost nobody goes. That part seems dangerous sometimes, but I think it is very nice with its secrets. It is beautiful and it looks messy but only from outside. If you go closer and if you know the place well enough you can see how nice it is.
When I was a child my favourite book was “The secret garden”. A very intelligent girl from a rich family is boring. She does not have any friends but she can always get anything. One day while as she is taking a walk; she finds a secret gate and a very messy garden inside. Somehow she finds a way in and discovers a new world. She realizes new emotions when she meets a friend. Her friend is sick because they never take him outside of his house. Day by day he becomes stronger and she helps him to heal. In our secret gardens we all have a friend who we can help to heal. In my garden there is a gate, as you enter through it you can see flowers; purple and yellow with a touch of orange, burgundy and olive. There is a cherry and an apricot tree on the hill with plants around them.
From this vantage point you can see the house in the garden. The home looks small but it is spacious inside. This is where I belong.

From Sacha
